Some Benchmark Multipath Performance Data of Coherent CSK Digital Communication Systems

The performance of coherent antipodal chaos-shift-keying (CSK) communication systems in a multipath channel is evaluated. A two-ray independent Rayleigh fading channel model is considered. Also studied is the performance when a Rake demodulator is employed. The analytical method for computing the bit error rate (BER) of such systems is derived. The theoretical BER results are presented and compared with the simulated ones. Keywords—Chaos communication, chaos shift keying, multipath channel, bit error rate, Rake receiver.
